We enjoyed the stylish accommodation, lovely personal touches, and the selection of delicious local and homemade produce as part of our stay at Meadow, Pound Farm. We booked for three nights to celebrate our anniversary but would recommend a minimum of two nights to fully appreciate all that the mirror house has to offer. We loved watching the wildlife go by, blissfully unaware of our presence, from a gloriously comfortable bed. Watching the sunrises, relaxing, unwinding and soaking it all in, never tiring of the views of the meadow. Whilst we enjoyed our autumnal stay, we can imagine how lovely the meadow will look in the spring and early summer. We can’t wait to share our experience with family and friends. Meadow ÖÖD sits on the edge of a freshly mown meadow, with no one else in view. The ÖÖD is surrounded by a wooden deck, with fire-pit, BBQ and space to stretch out or do yoga in the middle of your natural surroundings - without seeing or being seen by another human being. A separate bathroom is a wet room with rain shower - which has an etched glass motif on the walls, providing modesty without interrupting the view of the meadow. The OOD consists of a spacious bedroom with an enormous, high and extremely comfortable double bed, kitchen and dining area, all beautifully appointed with subtle tones and stylish design details.
While inside looking out, you have an almost completely uninterrupted view across the meadow. It is almost surreal, as if the walls were not there. Best of all is to be able to lay in bed, watching hawk scan the field, while house martins swoop and dive for insects - just a few meters away, oblivious to your presence.
