Getting there and free parking
Despite its secluded charm, Versso is conveniently connected to the mainland. Reaching us is easy, whether by road (just an hour from Helsinki), private boat, or even private plane or helicopter via Helsinki East Aerodrome, just 15 minutes away.
Free parking is available at the entrance, with buggies provided to transport your belongings to your house. For accessibility, cars can be driven closer to the houses for loading but must be returned to the designated parking area afterward.
Pets are welcome
At ÖÖD at Versso, your furry friends are part of the family! Two of our houses, Räsymatto and Tiiliskivi, are pet-friendly, making it easy to bring your pets along for peaceful forest walks and exploration. We kindly ask that pets remain well-behaved to ensure all guests enjoy their stay.
Birds and birdwatching
Blending into nature is at the heart of our design. We place UV film stickers on the glass panels to help prevent birds from colliding with the mirrors, allowing wildlife to thrive undisturbed. These stickers reflect ultraviolet light, which birds can see but humans can’t. When light reflects, birds understand that there is an object in their way and they'll change direction.
Keep an eye out for graceful grey herons and other local birds during your stay—it’s a haven for nature lovers!
